Ready to Propose a Program?
Please begin by reviewing the Faculty Travel-Study Leader Handbook. This Handbook can be a reference as you plan your program and during its operation.
Student safety is a a top consideration in travel study approval. See the Policy Statement on this subject for details.
To collect the information to create a new faculty-led study abroad program, this form is required. When completed, it must be signed by the Department Chair, Dean,
and International Affairs director. The form is a fillable pdf which you will complete online, then print for signatures.
Ready to repeat a previous program?
A much simpler form is required which will provide a record of approval to repeat a program. When completed, it must be signed by the Department Chair, Dean,
and International Affairs director. The form is a fillable pdf which you will complete online, then print for signatures.
Put your abroad courses on the course schedule
The Form I is required by the Registrar to put a course on the schedule. One form is needed for each course offered as part of your program. This form must be signed by the Department Chair, Dean and the Provost. Again, this is a fillable form which you complete online, then print for signatures.
Important: Be aware of the term end date... if your program ends after the end of summer term, it will become a fall program.
Because these are restricted (signature) courses, it is often most practical for the faculty leader to register the program participants at one time.
