Graduate Degrees & Programs
The SIUE School of Engineering offers a Master of Science degree in industrial engineering (IE) within the Department of Industrial Engineering. There are four areas of concentration: systems optimization, manufacturing engineering design, enterprise and production control, and quality engineering. Core courses are offered in the areas of engineering optimization, quality control, production planning, and manufacturing design.
Accelerated BS/MS program
The accelerated BS/MS program is an accelerated program that allows IE undergraduate student to select and count approved IE 400-level courses (no more than 9 credit hours) for both the undergraduate and graduate degrees. IE undergraduate students with GPA 3.0 or above and no more than 32 credit hours remaining for completion of the BS degree can be admitted. The accelerated BS/MS program students must complete the baccalaureate degree within on academic year of beginning the program. The program students must meet Graduate School graduation requirements. MS Integrative Study in Engineering Management
Industrial Engineering program offers M.S. of Integrative Studies degree in Engineering Management in collaboration with School of Business.
Post-Baccalaureate Certificates
The post-baccalaureate certificates in supply chain management and total quality management offered by the Department of Industrial Engineering provide students with an opportunity to obtain a graduate-level credential in the fields.
Certificate courses completed can be applied towards the MS in Industrial Engineering degree program if application to the master’s degree program is made within three years of completion of the certificate.
