Business Transitions Program Support
At the SIUE School of Business, we are dedicated to equipping our students with the tools and skills necessary for a successful transition into the professional world. As part of our commitment to fostering leadership and career readiness, we have developed a unique curricular program to prepare students to excel in the workforce. To ensure that we continue offering this vital program, we are seeking $100,000 to support our Business Transitions courses.
About the Business Transitions Program
The program consists of two required courses for all business majors:
- GBA 301 Business Transitions I: Planning for Success
- GBA 402 Business Transitions II: Commitment Beyond College
These courses are designed to help students transition seamlessly into the School of Business and prepare for their future careers. In GBA 301, students learn essential career planning skills such as résumé development and job search strategies. At the same time, GBA 402 builds upon this foundation, focusing on professional networking, interviewing techniques, and business etiquette.
Throughout the program, students are introduced to key concepts, including individual responsibility, ethical behavior, social responsibility of organizations, and global business perspectives. By engaging with these topics, students enhance their professional skills and develop a deeper understanding of the professional business environment.
Your Impact
By supporting the Business Transitions Program, you will play a crucial role in helping us mold the next generation of business leaders. Your contribution will ensure that our students are prepared to navigate the challenges of the modern workforce and thrive in their careers.
Financial Goal
We aim to raise $100,000 to support this dynamic program. Your sponsorship will directly impact our ability to offer these courses and maintain the high standards of education that set SIUE’s School of Business apart.
