Dr. Jared Sheley is a clinical associate professor with the Department of Pharmacy Practice. He holds a joint appointment as a clinical pharmacy specialist at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O'Fallon, Illinois, where he participates in multi-disciplinary teaching rounds with the Saint Louis University Family Medicine Inpatient Service. Dr. Sheley received his doctorate of pharmacy from SIUE School of Pharmacy and completed a pharmacy practice residency and an internal medicine specialty residency at St. Luke’s Hospital in Chesterfield, Mo. He also received his ACPE teaching certificate through St. Louis College of Pharmacy and is a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist. His areas of interests include infectious diseases, cardiology, anticoagulation, development of students and residents, and impact of inpatient clinical pharmacy services on patient outcomes.
