Research Interests
Dr. Khoshroo’s research interests are the philosophy of art (especially music), artificial intelligence ethics, and metaphysics. He has worked on musical expression, the ontology of sounds, and analyzing the ethical requirements of advanced AI systems. His recent project is on AI aesthetics: how AI-generated art could influence our perception and appreciation of artworks. His teaching competencies include ethics, philosophy of AI, and interdisciplinary courses on the intersection of philosophy and AI informed by relevant philosophical and computer science concepts.
